International Charismatic Church Calling

The Deputy Overseer of Intnertional Charismatict Church Rev Richard Siaw Kwarteng has disclosed that on August 16, 1996, the General Overseer of International Charismatic Church (ICC) Rev. Dr. Oppong Adu-Gyamfi moved with his family from Ghana, West Africa to Dallas- Fort Worth, Texas.

True to the apostolic calling upon his life he began church meetings with his family and a couple of friends from a living room in September. By the end of 1996, a church group meeting at 1010 S. Main St. in Euless, TX accepted a sharing arrangement with I.C.C., and from then on the church started to grow.

At the beginning of May 1 2001, a meeting place at 1401 E. Abram St. in Arlington, TX was secured with a lease. It was renovated from a store front to a beautiful church sanctuary. Rev. Dr. Oppong Adu-Gyamfi continued to pastor this church as it became one of the fastest growing charismatic church for the African-American community in the DFW metroplex – Ghananians, Nigerians, Kenyans, Spanish, African-American, and many more nationals of different countries came in to drink from the springs of life that Jesus Christ gave through the ministry of I.C.C.

In September 2005, Rev. Dr. Oppong Adu-Gyamfi relocated to Ghana with his family to oversee the headquarter church, which had been pastured by Rev. Richard Kwarteng Siaw while he was in the USA.

The international headquarters in Accra, Ghana has a magnificent cathedral which is situated in Darkoman, a suburb of Accra (visit our web-site www.icchurch.org). Rev. Richard Kwarteng Siaw has been pastoring the TX branch.

Exactly on April 24 2008, the beautiful church complex formerly owned by the Inglewood United Methodist Church was purchased and possessed by I.C.C. The acquisition of the 4-acre church campus is an attestation of God’s unfailing love and favor, a manifestation of his prevailing grace and power. If God has done for I.C.C. after all the trials and tribulations, then beloved, it is not over with God until you win.

In an execulsive interview with Rev.Kwarteng Siaw last weekend at the premises of the International Charismatic Church,Dallas Fort-Worth--Texas,the man of God said that" the Church's doors are always open to any ony who is looking for a place to worship and listen to the word of the Lord and as is written in the Holy book ",Come unto me, all ye that labuor and are heavy laden, and i will give you rest ,Matthew 11:28
