Help Abigail

A Ghanaian lady who came to Canada to study recently has been diagnosed with cancer and needs help to cover her treatment. Read her story below and help!
Hello, my name is Abigail and I am a 24 year-old international student from Ghana, West Africa. Recently, I have been diagnosed with cancer (Acute Lymphatic Leukemia). I have been admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital but as a visa student I am not covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). Although I have medical insurance, unfortunately the insurance company is unable to provide coverage for my cancer treatment.

I am in dire need of treatment, as I cannot afford it and the physicians intend to terminate my treatment by the end of June if I am unable to pay my medical bills. Ultimately, I will be returned to Ghana where I will not get the lifesaving treatment I need.

I humbly ask you all to help me raise funds to cover my medical bills so that I can get the treatment I need here in Toronto, Canada. I came to Canada with the ambition to go to school and now I am battling for my life. Your donation is greatly appreciated. Please share with you friends, family and colleagues. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers as they are much needed.
