13-Year Veteran of Flagship Hotel Rewarded for Dedication and Warmth Toward Guests

Hotelier Ivanka Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisitions for The Trump Organization, announced today on her Facebook page that Trump International Hotel & Tower^® New York Doorman James Opoku has been selected as the top associate in Trump Hotel Collection's "You're Hired" giveaway. James, who emigrated from his native Ghana in 1992, is a 13-year veteran of the brand's flagship property, which recently completed a spectacular $30 million renovation inspired by Ivanka Trump.

Jennifer McKelvey from Greenville, South Carolina, submitted James for consideration because of his outgoing personality, huge smile and ability to greet her family by name each time they walked through the door. Her children also cherished their time with Opoku and keep a framed photo with him in their rooms.

The "You're Hired" promotion, which invited guests to visit a microsite and nominate an employee who had made a stay in a Trump hotel Collection property, provided Donald J. Trump and the hotel brand's senior executives -- Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump -- with an opportunity to underscore the tenets of passion, drive and enthusiasm that guide the hiring, training and career advancement of Trump Hotel Collection associates. Throughout the competition, Trump harnessed the power of Ivanka's more than 910,000 social media followers on Facebook and Twitter by encouraging them to submit their stories of excellent service at a Trump hotel.

James and Jennifer will each receive:

• A two-night stay in a one-bedroom suite at the newly renovated Trump International Hotel & Tower® New York or the recently opened Trump SoHo™ New York
• Roundtrip airfare for two to New York City
• In-room Champagne on arrival
