Ghana Trade & Investment Exhibition Comes To Toronto!!

A Ghana Trade and Investment Exhibition aimed at promoting inter-regional trade and investment between Ghana and Canada will be held at the Toronto Congress Centre from September 15 to 18, 2005. It is being organized by GHANA EXPO CANADA Ltd, the business subsidiary of The Ghanaian News Community Newspaper

The aims and objectives of GHANA EXPO CANADA 2005 will be to prominently expose and promote inter-regional trade and investment between Ghana and Canada. It will enable businesses represented to:

- Present Ghana as a trade and investment Gateway to Africa

- Promote Ghana Export products with their diversity and refinement to Canadian and world markets.

- Showcase Ghana as a reliable source of raw materials, finished products, quality and affordable labor

- Position Ghana as a major re-export outlet for repackaged goods for Canadian and other regional markets

- Strengthen trade partnership and co-operation among Ghanaian businesses and the Canadian business community

The Exhibition will also showcase the beauty and diversity of Ghanaian culture

GHANA EXPO CANADA 2005 will serve as a launching pad for a new trade, commerce and investment opportunities for Canadian and Ghanaian business leaders. It will also afford government and cultural community leaders to exchange ideas and form mutually beneficial relationships.

GHANA EXPO CANADA 2005 will offer opportunities for every business sector spanning Agriculture, Manufacturing, Non Traditional Exports, Financial Services, Transport, Hi-Tech, Tourism, Distribution, Retailing, Import & Export among others. It will provide a unique and important platform for businesses to explore the full range of Ghanaian and Canadian products and services and the large untapped investment opportunities in Ghana.

The GHANA EXPO CANADA 2005 will be formally launched on Tuesday March 29, 2005 at 12.00 noon by the Hon. Jim Peterson, Canada's Federal Minister for International Trade and His Excellency Samuel Odoi Sykes, Ghana?s High Commissioner to Canada in Toronto-Ontario, at the Consulate Office of Ghana, 7777 Keele Street, Northeast corner of Keele/Hwy 7 Suite 202, Concord
