Ghana Tours partners Astraeus Airlines

Ghana Tours, the United Kingdom based charter flight operator to Ghana has signed up with Astraeus Airlines, a British scheduled airline based in the United Kingdom to improve on its services to Accra, Ghana.

Ghana Tours over the past 17 months has contributed enormously to the development of tourism in Ghana, by pioneering continuous charter flight services to the country in association with Britannia Airways.

Consequently, Ghana Tours has won praise not only for its promotion of tourism to Ghana, but also for its efficient operations; ensuring that customers to Accra are offered with cost-effective and reliable services.

Astraeus prides itself on the provision of high quality on-board product at all times. The company?s standard product for example includes complimentary three-course in-flight meals for all passengers with hot towels afterwards with free complimentary soft drinks. On longer flights operated by its 'premium service' Boeing 757 aircraft, Astraeus screens the latest movies. And on all long flights of five or more hours duration Astraeus offers additional snack services prior to arrival. According to Anthony Ogunseintan, managing director of Ghana Tours, the company?s association with Astraeus is for good measure. ?We are proud to announce our relationship with Astraeus. This is an airline company that is capable of delivering what our customers want. Passengers enjoy a premiere economy service only normally seen in business class. This is certainly an added value that our customers have always wanted. Our customers are happy with us, and will most welcome this new association, that is all part of our goal of being a customer-focused, value driven company?, Mr Ogunseintan said.

Ghana Tours will start utilising the services of Astraeus beginning May this year, offering twice weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays direct to Accra from London Gatwick, North Terminal. From the 9th June the service will increase to 3 flights a week. Peter Cox, Head of Sales for Astraeus said ?we are very pleased to have teamed up with Ghana Tours to promote these flights between the UK and Ghana. Our aim is to provide a good quality, professional and punctual operation to meet and exceed the requirements of our customers?.
