Ghana Embassy ready to celebrate

Ghana Embassy of Washington, D.C is ready to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.

Whenever One Visits the premises of the Embassy of Ghana in Washington D.C, all things indidcates that indeed the Embassy is ready for Ghana's 50th Anniversary.

The Auditorium has been decorated with the Nations Colours red, gold, green and the Black Star at the center which has helped tremendously to beautify the auditorium.

His Excellency Dr. Kwame Bawuah-Edusei, commenting on the decorations noted with satisfaction that it has been well done.

"Ghanaians should let the celebration of the Nation's Golden Jubilee bring us together as one people, since 'United we stand, divided we fall.'

The Ghana Ambassador to the USA briefing the press said "Unity, Peace and Stability are good for our nation and if Ghana has peace and stability we can gain a lot of investors coming to Ghana to do business"

"Let the achievements and successes of our fore fathers who strived for unity and peace for our dear nation embolden and bring us together as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary. We should also not forget that always Ghana first

The workaholic ambassador noted that Ghanaians should appreciate the various developments taking place in Ghana under President Kufuor's administration.

HE URGED GHANAIANS TO LEND THEIR UNFLINCHING

He also urged Ghanaians to lend their unflinching support to the government for it to effectively implement it's progressive and far-reaching programmes.

Dr. Bawuah-Edusei underscored that the 50th Anniversary celebration is unique and in a class of it's own both qualitatively and quantitatively, and it's a milestone in Ghana's history after attaining independence.

The Ambassador extends the Embassy's invitation to corporate bodies, friends of Ghana and the Ghanaians resident in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to attend the activities and programmes in their numbers to celebrate and commemorate Ghana's 50th anniversary.
