Future of Ghana Publication 2016 released

It’s here! The No.1 online publication for young Ghanaian professionals has been released via www.futureofghana.com.

Following the announcement earlier this year of the top 30 U30 on Independence Day. The anticipation for the release of the publication has been huge.

Well you are now able to read in full all the profiles of the top 30 including rising star Abraham Attah, UK based radio presenter Clara Amfo, Global shaper Winifred Selby and the versatile Actor/television personality from South Korea. Yes South Korea! Samuel Okyere

This year we also have three exclusive interviews from change-makers in the culinary and fashion industries, a detailed look back on last years initiative as well as insightful articles on the sectors that matter. This is an essential read if you’re interested in Ghana’s development

Me Firi Ghana annually produce the Future of Ghana publication which celebrates excellence by recognising the Top 30 under 30 talent of Ghanaian decent, pioneering in industries around the world. The publication also features forward thinking articles highlighting key industries, innovators and organizations visions for Ghana and Africa.

The nomination process for top 30 to be featured in publication began November 2nd and closed on 13 December 2015. Our esteemed judging panel consisted of; Lorraine Wright (Founder of UGCY UK & Ghana), Isaac Babu-Boateng (Founder/CEO Face 2 Face Africa), Adrien Sauvage (Creative Director A.Sauvage Fashion House), Ethel Cofie (CEO of EDL Technology Consulting)and Emmanuel Edudzie (Executive Director YES Ghana) their selection of the top 30 was based on supporting evidence provided by nominators and the guiding nomination criteria made public at the start of the campaign.

The Publication is the beginning and one that we hope will act as a catalyst to encourage greater youth participation with the development of Ghana whilst also act as a visual source of inspiration for the emerging generation and a talent resource for investors and organizations.

The Forum…..

In celebration of Ghana’s 59th Independence, Me FiRi Ghana hosted the Future of Ghana Forum 2016 which took place on 3rd March 2016 at City Hall, The Queens Walk, London, SE1 2AA- one of London’s most prestigious venues - the event hosted by Rosemary Laryea was a prelude of what was to come this year – the release of the 2016 Edition of The Future of Ghana Publication and launch of the Me Firi Ghana Members Network.

The event saw a Key Note address from the Ghanaian High Commissioner to the UK H.E Victor Emmanuel Smith and panel discussion.
