Former student donates trophy to Opoku Ware School

Kumasi, Oct 11, GNA 96 Mr James Emmanuel Aidoo, a former student of Opoku Ware Secondary School in Kumasi and now resident in Canada, on Monday donated a trophy valued at five million cedis to the school.

Making the presentation, Mr Aidoo said the trophy was his personal contribution towards the development of sports in the school. He hoped the trophy would be competed for annually in the school's inter-houses athletics competitions.

Mr Stephen Anokye, the Headmaster, thanked Mr Aidoo greatly for his immense contribution to the school and called on other old students to follow his shining example.
