Flag of Ghana will fly over Syracuse City Hall

The flag of Ghana will be raised over City Hall, 233 E. Washington St., at 10 a.m. Tuesday in honor of Ghana's 50th Independence Day.

The event will kick off a monthlong celebration that includes a thanksgiving praise and worship service, a film and a panel discussion, a photo exhibit, a symposium and a banquet.
