Dagombas in Spain

DAGOMBAS RAISED UP THE FLAG OF GHANA IN MURCIA(SPAIN)

The first regional congress for inter culture was organised by the federation of immigrants in Murcia.

The congress was aimed in strengthening the participation of cultural activities of various immigrants associations.

Present was the Dagombas Association in Murcia,various Associations and their Ambassadors and councilors,but the Ghana Ambassador failed to attend the invitation nor to send a representative from the embassy.

Speech was given by the president of the federation,that immigrants should not feel that they are in another's country and have to forget their culture,he said they should bring out their problems regarding culture activities for them to see how it can be solved,also encourage immigrants to set up projects that will bring inter cultures to promote integration. There was a display of various culture dance and dressing which followed by a refreshments.

At the end of the congress,there was a four round table mixed with differents people to propose projects and how to implement them.
