Computers For Kumasi High

Old students of Kumasi High School resident in New York, United States of America, (USA) have presented two computers with their accessories to the school. The computer, worth about ? 12.5 million, represent their modest contribution towards improving facilities at the school.

Mr. Kwadwo Barwuah-Agyapong, a spokesman of the group who presented the computers at a brief ceremony at Kumasi in the Ashanti region last week said “the school has made us who we are today. It is to appropriate that we try to pay back in whatever way we can”.

Madam Gladys Kwapong, Kumasi Metropolitan Director of Education who is also the acting headmistress of the school, thanked the group for the gesture and called for further assistance towards the procurement of a school bus.
