CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO DR. PAA KWESI NDUOM ON HIS ELECTION TO THE FLAGBEARERSHIP OF CONVENTION PEOPLE’S PARTY (CPP)

On behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire membership of the Convention Peoples Party in the United States of America (CPP-USA Inc), I wish to congratulate you, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, on your election as the presidential candidate of the CPP on December 17, 2007 .

Your election has not only rekindled the hope and aspirations of the rank and file of the Party but also those of the broad masses of Ghana . It is an excitement anytime a humble individual is elected to lead a nationalist political party like the CPP.

We members of CPP-USA will support your efforts with all our might in the struggle ahead.

Congratulatory Message to the Convention Peoples Party on the Occasion of the Successful Congress Proceedings on December 15-17, 2007

The Executive Committee of CPP-USA Inc. wishes to commend the National Executive, presidential candidates, and all the delegates for the successful and harmonious congress in December 2007.

We thank all the presidential aspirants, Mr. Agude, Prof. Akosa, Mr. Akwetey, Dr. Akuffo, Dr. Nduom, and Dr. Osafo, for their extraordinary investment in the rebuilding and re-energizing of the party base across the country. We acknowledge and applaud the enormous sacrifices they made. Now that Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has been chosen to lead the party in the 2008 elections, we urge the others to rally behind him with the same energy and zeal they invested in their individual campaigns during the primaries.

It is only in unity that we shall emerge victorious in 2008. Therefore, it is imperative for the old and new executives to close their ranks and offer a unified front to propel the CPP from one plane of success to the next. Surely, there is victory for the CPP, but this victory can only be won in our unity of purpose.

The first step towards victory has been taken. It was a giant one and it was beautiful. There is a colossal struggle ahead of us. Nevertheless, with the support of the masses of our dear nation on our side, we will overcome all the obstacles. Let’s keep the heat on. Congratulations!
