France the city of lights and fashion have many Ghanaians residing there for a very long time. It has been a diaspora hub full of troubles and confusion as far as the Ghanaian community is concerned.

Comparing situation across the globe especially in countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany one might say that on the bases of development in the diaspora, Ghanaians living in France fall short.

Many are of the view that chieftaincy problems amongst them are separating and degrading the integrity and prominence of the community.

Recently, a meeting was held by FEDGAF (FEDERATION OF GHANAIANS IN FRANCE) to resolve its issues surrounding the problems facing the community.

Now during the weekend, a storm of positive change transpired through the community of Ghanaians in France as it held its first-ever family fun day 2018. It was initiated by Dr. Sarkodie of UNESCO with support from the Ghana Embassy headed by H.E Anna Bossman the Ambassador of Ghana to France.

The event which brought all diasporans together was attended by the H.E. Anna Bossman and her entire staff.

The chief of the community, Nana Ansah and his sub-chiefs, as well as the youth present, commended the program and asked for it to be done annually.

H.E Anna Bossman participated in all the activities including athletics, football, sac race, dancing competition, ludo, round chair sits up, dame, and many other games.

She had some time to interact with the children and as well gave presents to the children who won the various competitions. Brussels airline was the headline sponsor of the event.
