8th Annual GDI Conference In Philadelphia..

GDI Alliance executive officers in conjunction with the GaDangme Educational and Cultural Foundation of Pennsylvania invite GaDangmebii/li all over the world to participate in the 8th Annual GDI Alliance conference from May 25th to May 28th 2007. The theme for the conference is "GaDangme in the 21st Century Uniting for Progress and Development in Ghana and the challenges ahead"

The program for the three-day event is as follows:

The climax of the Conference will be a Church Service and a Grand Durbar/Fundraising on Sunday May 27th to celebrate the life Ga Mantse Nii Amugi

Keynote Speaker for the conference is Prof. Justice V.C.R.A.C. Crabbe

The conference will provide the opportunity for GaDangmemei/li in the Diaspora to develop effective strategies that will set the broad direction for the future of GaDangmebii/li. It will feature international and local keynote speakers to stimulate our discussion and debate as well as the opportunity to meet fellow GaDangmebii/li and beyond.

Each person attending the conference will have the opportunity to participate in a small discussion group. GDI Alliance committees will use the information provided from these discussions to plan and implement short-term and long-term projects for GaDangme State. Please consider joining one of GaDangme International Alliance committees - Education, Finance, Health, Land, Youth, Culture and Chieftaincy, to participate in the planning and implementation of GDI Alliance projects.
