The over 4000 Chinese that were repatriated, was the tip of the iceberg. There are still 5 times that number in the country engaging in illegal mining and government must sit up to help the nation and Ghanaians. What the Regional Minister has done should be replicated in all regions and culprits brought to book. I believe if a Ghanaian did this in Burkina Faso, he/she would be in hot waters. Let them also smell pepper here.

Does our politicians have to form a committee before they take action on everything?
Is it the stopping of illegal miners that they don't know or is it because they cannot identify an illegal miner?
Our politicians are very funny!
