Sometime ago my area , KNUST townships, was like a war zone. Anytime one turns around there was robbery case. sometimes broad day light. Student Hostels were also targets of armed robbery.Laptops and money were taken from these poor student at gun point.Rush our traffic from Amakom to Ayigya became ridiculous because everybody wanted to get home before it got dark.Hon. LO carrying of Guns became a necessity for those you owned them and had it not been for the sake of one such people who scared some attackers away on the Ayeduase-Kotei road, who knows what would have happened to a shop and it's owner. I am not saying your are wrong but just thinking it goes both ways. No offense. Thank to the regional police commander who finally heard our cry and mounted a police Tent with some officers helping our community watch team. Anytime I call home, i hear things are getting better.

I have driven home with suspects hanging around my abode and had it not been the advice from a top security personnel that always lingered in my mind I would have been history by now. This is no bragging but I had to drive pass my home, called the house for the release of the wild dogs and drove little faster to a friends house but before then I had to the suspects know I wasn't playing. I deterred them.We all remember how a popular Gas station owner was attacked and killed while trying to enter his home after business.
A classmate of mine and a Gas station owner in Cape Coast was also attacked in a similar manor.Thank God they spared his life. He who feels it Knows it.Don't blame this guy too much

I will like to know? Why he should plead in this case? The only wrong he did was he left the scene of the incidence which could be justify that he feared for his life because he reasonably believe the attackers were more and or might be armed.
I trust the Magistrate as well as the Police know that a broken bottle, a knife can kill as fast as a gun. I broken bottle or a knife can kill within two to twenty minutes depending on the location of stabbing. This is entirely self defense and Mr. Ibrahim must not be in Police custody at all. He must be granted bail and to proof to the Magistrate or the court that he feared for his life when the two men approached him with bottle and threat him with it. Remember a bottle can kill as fast as a gun.
