A modern judge applying a common sense ruling instead of some colloquially antiquated law from some useless tattered book would have said “it is senseless for the dead to be given a television” and so this case is strike out. This type of ruling would have gone a long way to put sense in the community that no one should engage in the nonsense of given a tv set to the dead.
