A disturbing video has emerged showing a man identified as Enoch assaulting an okada rider with a machete in Diaso, Central Region, after his girlfriend sat on the laps of an okada rider identified as Boakye.

The footage, shared by Dailyviewgh on X on July 15, 2026, captures a roadside confrontation in which the barefooted attacker, dressed in a white T‑shirt and brown pants, wields a machete as he aggressively threatens and strikes at the rider, who is seen in a bright green shirt and yellow shorts.

The victim then raises his hands while backing away and pleading.

Further reports by mordernghana.com indicate that on July 13, 2026, the attacker, identified as Enoch (alias Awoye), targeted 18‑year‑old rider Yaw Boakye after his girlfriend, Perpetual, briefly sat on Boakye’s lap at a motorcycle taxi station.

Boakye pushed her off, but the incident later escalated into a machete assault near a farm, leaving the victim injured.

Meanwhile, the footage has ignited public outrage on X, with widespread calls for the Ghana Police Service to arrest the suspect.
