It is refreshing to hear the Police has acted swiftly on this disturbances. What has prevented the Police from acting in like manner in Sampa? The IGP must set up. Politicians should not be allowed to over control the Police. The people in Sampa also deserve to be protected. Let the Police arrest the young man and his perpetrators who are disturbing the peace in Sampa. The gazeeted chief must be allowed to steer the affairs of his people. Enough of the hypocrisy.

The Akwapem are not. The Guans of Akwapem are. I certainly believe that the Akwapem people are but there are some evil ones among them. Even at SMALL AKROPONG, there have been incidents of disturbances sometimes when it comes to the Celebrations of Odwira and the installation of the Omanhene of Akwapem. I even remember that one time, the Military had to be sent in to maintain peace.
I find it difficult to understand why and some people behave when it comes to Chieftaincy and other Traditional affairs. It becomes difficult to understand why some people who are unemployed, and have not been seriously unemployed don’t think about how to make ends meet but ridiculously follow tradition and Politicians. If found guilty, such Nation Wreckers need to be made to enjoy some time at Ankarful, Ho, Or Tamale Prison Gyamfi little conversion. A year and a half of incarceration can help to convert them to civility.
