Nonetheless, the answer to your question is that, it is because the educated class and politicians across board have stolen all the resources meant for human and infrastructural development forcing many people to get involved in the global drug trade to live comfortably in swanky mansions at East Legon, Cantonments, Airport area, Achimota etc. Those who have not got the means and the guts to take that route and are strengthened by moral fortitude, resign themselves by sheer poverty, to the circumstances of deprivation.
