As a head of department, occasionally you request for the bank pay-in slips, bank statements and payment vouchers from the accountant every month or every quarter depending on how big your organization is. This one you don't need to be an accountant to see the cheque you signed, and the amount withdrawn, if there is any withdrawal you don't understand, call for the PV. The fact that you said these monies were withdrawn for a number of years also tells us that you were not monitoring the finances of the hospital as the CEO, this how came they enjoyed the booty for some number of years, you also carry part of the blame. CEO is not about suit and tie. There is more to CEO than that

It is a joke in Africa. Where in Africa has a Corrupt President been prosecuted before? But in Europe and America if you joke as a President they will prosecute you or force you to resign and jail you on top. We Africans are so stupid you practice things that we don't understand.
