I don't understand why a free citizen will be arrested and remanded for making so called offensive statements against a Chief. If it is right for the arrest to be made, then why are people like kennedy Agyepong, wontumi, abronye etc all walking free after having made various insulting comments about people in Ghana? What kind of foolishness on the part of the police? Will the police arrest all of us on ghanaweb for all the insults we type?

Don't blame the chief, blame the judge who could allow a police prosecutor to tell him to remand an accused and he did same without any legal bases
