The petty armed robbers are the ones who have taken over the highways to rob off the innocent people. I t seems it is no longer safe to be in Ghana. The police are also docile when it comes that the victims call for their security, they can only appear after the armed robbers are done.

Very pathetic. There's the growing use of CCTVs in vehicles nowadays. Recordings are INSTANTLY saved in the cloud or sent to smart mobile phones or to other saving devices without the knowledge of the criminals. Security services use these saved files to track and trace criminals and apprehend them. CCTVs are becoming more effective but cheaper so the earlier transport companies and individuals vehicles owners adopted the technology the better.

Somebody was shot dead in the afternoon in plain sight. Police was informed immediately, but the response was, they cannot come until later. The dead corpse with there in the street for 7 hours before the first policeman arrived at the scene.

That's how those "security forces" operate. How would they ever catch a true criminal? They rater colaberate and take bribes from them.

That's how it started in Nigeria, and now they're hunting down Christians for sport. It started in the North when Buhari was president, and now they've moved to the Middle of the country. Soon they might take over the whole country and you'd have to risk your life to call yourself a Christian in Nigeria, and the government isn't doing anything about it!!! Why because, their religion controls every branch in government!!

What else do you expect the evil criminals to do when the government itself is too busy stealing and plundering and has no concern for the safety and security of the people of Ghana? These criminal bandits work in groups, with one look-out parked patiently at a busy truck stop of filling station. Once a bus loaded with passengers leaves the station, the look-out then phones the other team perched on the outskirts of town to be ready for the a bus coming through with passengers. The Police should work with truck stops and filling stations to allow them to have plainclothes officers in unmarked Police vehicles stationed at those locations to conduct surveillance on suspicious vehicles with occupants parked there for long periods of time. No society can eradicate crime, but a concerned government can take meaningful measures to ensure that very few crimes are committed across the roads of Ghana.
