Presidential staffer Apaak attacked by armed robbers

Gun wielding men on Friday dawn attacked Presidential Staffer, Clement Apaak, at his Ashaleybotwe residence in Accra.

The robbers, according to Mr. Apaak, made away with an amount of GHS7,350, a laptop, phones belonging to Apaak, his wife and brother-in-law.

Confirming the incident to Asempa FM, Mr. Apaak said the robbers forced their way into his house around 3: am Friday dawn.

He said he returned home late on Thursday evening after appearing on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana programme.

He narrated that after giving the robbers 300 Ghana cedis they requested for more and his wife gave them a bag containing GHS7,050 which were meant for a special project.

His brother-in-law, he said, was left bleeding after the robbers hit him with the butt of the gun.

One person has however been arrested by the Police, according to Clement Apaak.
