I think the BOG shd have come up with a non existing amount like 100cedis note. That will have been more reasonable.

Working to prevent counterfeiting when the notes are already out there? What logic is this?

after a few gh5's to the market, we not gonna see them again. don't forget kuffour did with the 50's. they keep stealing through money printing and changing.
BoG take care of the cedi value. You need not to print any new notes is waist of resources.
The picture on the note looks like the face of Kwegyir Aggrey. Is it not?
