Now listen,when we talk about public debt,it's about loans that we have contracted from foreign Financial Institutions.
Let me make it clear here,public debt is not like what govt owes Kofi,Ama or Abongo.It's about loans we have been credited from foreign banks.
At a point in time,we will have to borrow again to pay loans which sinks the economy completely.Here is where foreign Financial institutions refuse to give us loan unless we run to IMF.Here is where we find ourselves today.
The only efficient way to pay public debt is to reduce public expenditure and how do we do that?
Govt must look at areas where it spends most of its revenue.I can say govt spends more of its revenue on Education,Health and Security Services.These 3 sectors take the largest chunk of govt's revenue so now you know.
The Finance Minister,if he wants us to take him serious then he should trim down spending on Education,Health and Security Service.
I don't think Mr Ofori Atta can do any of these because of NPP's lousy campaign promises.That's why they are begging IMF to extend the bail out deal.Don't worry be happy.
