How can somebody like Fifi Kwetey be in the MOFEP, and how can we have the head of the economic management team, in the person of the Vice President presiding over our economy and our finances, when he had been in the thick and thin of business, when our economy tanked in the 80's and 90's, in spite of all the interventions of the Bretton Woods initiated policies of SAP,ESAP,etc, etc and has been comatose since then, until the effort of the Kufuor administration tried to pull it back from the doldrums, with its significant gains as a lower middle income economy, all within a period of 8 years. Currently, this has been erased completely in just a little over 4 years under the NDC gov't from 2009 - present. NDC cannot do it because they lack it up there to do it.

The people of Ghana have to learn the proper way to develop their country which is through taxation. We should not wait for other people in various countries to pay their taxes for their government to dole it out the so called developing countries who do not want to pay taxes. We need good roads, good housing, good schools, good hospitals and doctors. Where does this professor wants us to get the money from?
