San Antonio Spurs have clinched its first win of the 2017-2018 NBA season at the AT&T Center courtesy a 107-99 win over Minnesota Timberwolves.

The game was the team’s first in a competitive game without Ghana Center Amida Brimah who got cut prior to the team’s final preseason game against Houston Rockets.

The former University of Connecticut Captain was in line to make the Spurs roster for this season but missed out on the spot to Matt Costello.

In three preseason games with San Antonio, Brimah averaged three points and three rebounds in five minutes;the 6 foot 11 inch Center played against Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic.

The Tudu-born player is now a free agent eligible to sign with any team in the league or oversees; per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com, Brimah is on the radar of Turkish giant Trabzonspor.

With Kawhi Leonard out with injury, LaMarcus Aldridge paced the team as he registered a 25 point, 10 rebound double double; second year Guard Dejounte Murray scored 16 points as he continues to fill in for injured veteran Guard Tony Parker.
