Former Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I ace Romeo Wilfred Enan was on the losing side of a league fixture between JS Manazeh and Ezarrha in the Tunisian Basketball League.

Enan’s Manazeh side lost 56-59 last night in one of the top ranked leagues in Africa; the three point loss was the closest on the night of league games.

The loss is the team’s second in five games for the season and sees them drop to fourth in the seven team standings of Group B.

On the other hand, Ezarrha’s record for the season improved to four wins in six games and gets the side up to third in the group.

Romeo is a former Ghana Basketball Awards Tertiary Player of the Year winner after starring for Accra Technical University during his stay in Ghana before playing in Nigeria for Kwara Falcons.

His stellar play in the West African basketball hub led to a call up to the Ivory Coast National team for this year’s African Nations Championship.

Other results had bottom ranked ASM Marsrsa lose its fifth of the campaign to ES Sahel.
