We must promote competitions which bring out the best in our students which would also promote the love of learning, knowledge and wisdom in our students from kindergarten to the tertiary level.
The national constitution quiz organized by NCCE, the national science and maths quiz, GBC spelling bee and talent competitions in drama, sports, poetry and dance must all be promoted.

Didi Dramani will face the toughest challenge in his coaching career in the 2014/15 soccer season. The Asante Kotoko supporters would never countenance this streak of defeats in the next soccer season.
Opoku Nti and Didi Dramani must start wearing steel helmets during League matches at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The Kotoko team lack bite in the attacking machinery. The players also lack stamina to play effectively for 120minutes, and if care is not taken, the journey to Africa would end ignominiously in the first round as it happened last year.
The calibre of players contracted by the club this year is far below the standard expected of the club. Didi Dramani does not seem to differentiate between a good player, and a practice player. All the players recruited this year are practice players who can never win matches for the team. Samad Oppong, Kone & co are not good materials for Kotoko.
Didi Dramani has a lot of work to do if he is to replicate last year's performance. Football is all about goals scoring, and if your players can't score goals then you don't have a team. You have a collection of practice players and not a team.
If Didi Dramani should face Herbert Addo this time round, Ahmed Toure would cause a lot of damage to the Kotoko team. Didi must pray hard that Kotoko don't pitch their strength against Hearts in the first month of the commencement of the League.
Opoku Nti and Didi must start looking for good strikers, or train what they have to be effective strikers before the commencement of the League, otherwise Kotoko must forget about the League title, and the trip to Africa. The current team is horrible and can not win matches.
