  I wonder what Bashiru Hayford was saying? He did not prepare the girls well so why did he think he should qualify to the next round? In women football, these are the pre requisities: first, there must be a first class goalkeeper, second there must be a deadly striker(s), third, there must be offensive midfielders who can pass the ball well and score goals as well and lastly, the defenders must play one touch football. Our girls did not prepare well and had oversize jerseys. They barely tested their opponents goals so how could they qualify?

Even Goalkeeper Adjei,who dazzled the crowds with some spectacular saves,looked quite ordinary in the second game against the DPR side. i believe a more purposeful and business-like approach by the entire team,would have allowed Bashiru`s side to sail through to the next stage.
  The only credible and well-prepared opposition in the tournament was the German team,which exhibited all the qualities you have laid out.

  Additional learning to do in terms of understanding the dynamics of these international tournaments! There is no doubt that you have a lot of raw talent on your team,that needs some extra polishing. You yourself were 'outsmarted' by the other coaches you faced! You nearly allowed your Cdn counterpart to turn the game against your side in the last 15 minutes of the opening game. In my view,the scoreline of the last game against Finland, should have been far greater than the one goal margin,if your girls were aware they more than a simple close win over Finland to compensate for the atrocious performance
  against the DPR team! You appear not to have realized the poor officiating by the referees in the second game,which very much upset your side,and made it lose its composure! Next time around,watch over what your charges eat. The visit to the fish & Chips place near the hotel was a disaster; and I am also aware that your team was treated to a whole array of different Ghanaian local dishes,which did not help the players,who were falling all over the field. Please go back and watch the game videos,and then assess some of these pointers I have raised.

  We watched and supported the team in all three matches. Canada's loss to our team only confirmed the illogicality in soccer. They were the better team and it showed in their defeat of Finland and North Korea, and their spirited performance against Germany. We should accept that we did not possess what we needed to advance. Even if we had moved out of our group, I just could not fathom how we could have beaten the Germans.

  UNLIKE PREVIOUS TIMES, COACHES NOW STAND ON THE LINES TO SHOUT AND PROMPT THEIR PLAYERS, BUT HAYFORD DID NOT DO ENOUGH OF THAT. THE # 17 LEFT-FOOTER SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE MIDFIELD. HERE WAS A DRIBBLER WHO ATTEMPTED TO DRIBBLE PASS ALL THE OPPOSING DEFENDERS ONLY TO LOSE THE BALL FINALLY. BUT SHE HAD A LOT OF POWER AND COULD FIRE IN SHOTS FROM A GOOD ANGLE. IN FACT SHE CREATED THE LONE GOAL AGAINST CANADA, BUT SHE WAS UNDERUSED. COACH HAYFORD CAN'T CRY FOUL AT ALL. HELP THE STRIKERS TO IMPROVE THEIR SHOOTING AT GOAL BECAUSE THE DEFENCE AND MIDFIELD WERE GOOD. STAMINA WAS ANOTHER FACTOR, THE LADIES LACKED THE FINISHING POWER DUE TO TIREDNESS. CANADA HAD STAMINA TO BEAT FINLAND AND KOREA, AND THEY NEARLY EQUALISED OUR GOAL AGAINST THEM.
