Nice to see a guy from Ghana making good money like $25, 0000 but for no good performance. Contract should be linked to some good performance targets otherwise is just waste of money. The performance of the Black Stars in last World Cup was highly mismanaged and this coach my be resigned or be fired. He is staying on the job just for the cash. He cannot get over his anger and manage the team. He should go for anger management and re-apply for the job.

It's not $2k a year... That is the net increase to his pay....he will make almost $450,000 a year I.e $900k in his 2 yr extension

WOW, who would not want a job that pays you so handsomely even after not achieving the results of your mandate. What a total waste of public funds. Ghana can do better than that and so can the GFA; and that is why there needs to be house cleaning at the GFA, particularly the post of the national coach. In my books, he deserves, ZILCH, yes ZILCH. But if the GFA wants to keep him, he should be held to measureable results, and those results must be made public. Failure to achieve those results, should have consequences, and I mean grave ones too. I hope the GFA's confidence in Appiah is well- placed. Two years is not a long way away or far enough as they think. It will be here sooner than they can even cry uncle.
