How many Ghanaian physiotherapists (with a proven track record for players in such events and tournaments like the World Cup) have really applied for the position? Let's be honest and name them so those of us who don't really know such physios will be aware. I abhor such utterance like "Are there not any Ghanaians to fill that role?"; as if such professions are automatic or God-given alienable rights that require no skills, experience or qualifications. We shouldn't just take to web forums just to voice our frustrations about things without facts.

I have listened to Kwesi Nyantakyi said something about this some 2 or more years ago that that arrangement was not agreeable to them since the team has its physio. but its looking like the FA is compromising largely because they seemed to be convinced that kvp has a real injury problem and somehow ghana feels we need him. afterall, badu, wakaso, muntari, afful, opare, nkoom, etc are still not perfect passers of the ball.

Football is now intrisic on multiethnicity.History will only recollect that Ghana won the WC in 2014 finito.

By the way,the germans are not concerned (underestimating) with Ghana, they even take USA more seriously. They are already thinking about their opponents, after the group stage. Typical german disease, always overestimating themselves.

I think the writer of these articles about Kevin Boateng is forcing him on Ghanaians but I think Kevin will be disappointed finally. Where from this guy too with his physio. All this while Kevin was not player any much for Ghana, he wasn't there for friendlies matches as well as the world cup qualifying matches until he saw that Ghana will qualify so all this years he has played Black Stars matches for only 10 minutes. Such a player shouldn't be intertained in the national team. If he doesn't have legs to play for the qualifying series then he shouldn't have legs to think of world cup in Brazil and I know he will be droped finally.

This is because, the team wanes in performance with time to the extent that teams they had well beaten earlier turn round to beat them when they meet them in the knock-out stages.So to find someone who can work on their bodies to keep them in shape match after match is a good step.

The 2010 Ghana Physiotherapist is an excellent pick if Black Star is thinking of one. He worked on Asamoah Gyan and John Mensah excellently throughout the 2010 WC tournament. Other players like Vorsah, Ayew and Jonathan Mensah enjoyed the expert's horse treatment as well.
Kevin's Knee injury problem is just a minute problem for the Serbian. All Kevin's Physiotherapist need do is to brief her and give his medical records.
However, if Kevin's Therapist is ready to join the bench without pay or for very less allowance, that shouldn't be brushed aside.
We shouldn't forget we have many injury-prone and troubled players that requires more than Kevin's Knee expert. Essien, Ayew, Boye, E. Frimpong, Kwarasey and Muntari; just to mention a few. Over to you Appiah and GFA!
