There are many examples, nationwide, involving sports stadia, arts Centre's, conference centres etc. In fact the Essipun Sports Stadium and the New Railway Terminal, both in Sekondi are now in such a disgraceful state that they are used as venues for funerals and such events. We have no respect for the practice of servicing facilities. We put them up with much fanfare; thereafter we behave as if the facilities should take care of themselves. This is a National Disease of Ghana and applies equally to all institutions and political parties..
