After being ignored yet again from call-ups into the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ethiopia, Ghanaian midfielder Raman Chibsah is setting his sights on aiding his team, Frosinone, keep their head above the water in the Italian Serie A.

The league’s new entrants who had picked five points from their last nine made it four consecutive games unbeaten in the 2018/19 season having exhibited some good show in a 1-1 stalemate with Fiorentina on Friday night.

Chibsah, who has been one of the most consistent Ghanaian performers in Europe so far this season is unfazed by the lack of call-up for his nation’s latest game in the AFCON qualifiers, and has only one thing on his mind, that is to help his side stay up in the Seria A this season.

He told classfmonline.com, ” My greatest focus is playing well and achieving positive results in our subsequent games . As for a call up into the senior national team I know that so far as I keep putting in good performances for my club, I will definitely get a call-up sooner or later God willing. For now though, my only target is to accomplish the assignment ahead of me in the Serie A”.

The hard-working central midfielder put up a splendid performance again in Frosinone’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Friday night.

He lasted the entire duration of the encounter. Impressed with his tough tackling , decent passing ranges and brilliant composure on and off the ball.

The result also moves Frosinone from 19th to 18th in the league table having played a game more.
