GFA to announce media right owners next week

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended the deadline for submission of bids for Television Broadcast Rights of the various GFA-organised competitions.

This was after the GFA received bids from seven organisations for the television rights, when it first opened the bids.

A statement from the GFA said it has since been evaluating the bids and it would announce a decision next week.

It said “for Radio Commentary Rights, the Association has decided to extend the period for expression of interest by radio stations to 5 p.m. on Tuesday December 31, 2019.

It added that’s the GFA is processing accreditation requests received from media houses and journalists and would inform stakeholders in due course for journalists to pick up their accreditation badges.

If said until the accreditation tags are ready, media personnel are to use their current GFA Media Identification Cards to access entry into venues of the Premier League.
