Mr Alban Bagbin, the Presidential candidate aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to transform the country when given the opportunity to lead the Party and the nation as well.

Mr Bagbin, who is the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra after going through the vetting processes at the Party’s Headquarters.

He said: “I was comfortable with the vetting processes, you can see from my smiles that am happy with what happened today, you don’t need to hear it, you can feel it,” he added.

Mr Bagbin said the vetting panel asked him issues about his capacity and character to lead the Party to victory, which he believed were critical in democratic governance.

He stated that he was very confident of winning to become the flagbearer of the Party and win the impending presidential elections from the New Patriotic Party.

“My policies will focus on the people, their welfare is Paramount to me, these are some of the basic elements for leadership”.

Mr Bagbin said it was God’s calling for him to be president of the country, and that it was his passion to improve the lives of Ghanaians if he won the 2020 Election.
