“…I'm not Part of your nonsense. I'm not afraid of anyone. Not a single soul. I'm wild like a lion!!! Bring it on. You'll be humiliated,” outspoken and controversial musician Kwame A Plus has hit back at Communications Minister Ursula Owusu-Ekuful following the latter’s threat to sue him.

Kwame A Plus who has become a harsh critique of the incumbent government and fellow NPP members had earlier posted on his Facebook wall about IMANI’s accusations against Mrs. Owusu Ekuful on shady deals.

“Kwasi Nyantakyi is only being sacrificed to cover up the 89/178 million dollars GVGKelni stinking scandal. Just about a year ago I accused Asenso of being corrupt. Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is said to have also accused Uslar Owusu of being corrupt and alleged that people are charged huge sums of money before they are allowed to see the president. We were both invited by the CID. A year on, Imani Ghana is accusing Uslar Owusu of some shady deals at the communication ministry and NCA. It is even suspected that this dodgy deal is the reason why a board member has resigned and many who do not want to be implicated in anyway will follow….”

In response to his post, the Communications Minister admonished the musician through her lawyers to retract and apologise or face a lawsuit.

Part of the statement reads “… we are instructed to notify you that our client takes a serious view of your defamatory publication on Facebook and would not hesitate to commence any legal action against you if the said publication is not retracted on or before Friday 1st June, 2018..”

Agitated by Ursula Owusu’s actions, A Plus retorted and dared her to do her worst as he remained unfazed, adding that she would be at the losing end with humiliation.

“…if I apologise Nimokafui and Ayetefrem and chalabim and Salafim should kill me. You think this is 2017. I only helped you to win power. I'm not Part of your nonsense. I'm not afraid of anyone. Not a single soul. I'm wild like a lion!!! Bring it on. You'll be humiliated.”

The Communications Minister herself has been summoned by Members of Parliament to answer questions regarding the telecommunication deal with Kelni GVG costing $179m.
