Is there a written law regarding noise pollution and if so is it applied uniformly? How about the churches. loud preaching at lorry stations and others? Wake up Ghana!!!?

Useless judiciary
Do we have laws on noise in Ghana. Why don't you arrest taxi drivers who horn unnecessarily anywhere in the country including school premises and residential areas. If you are competent lawyers jail the the stupid NDC Mps on

Public or private nuisance is actionable
Ghanaians do need public or civic education at all levels. In law there is an offence of Public Nuisance as well as private Nuisance. Blowing loud speakers too loud to disturb the neighbourhood or the public is an offence pun

Why remand him? Can’t you just charge him and warn him, or apply community service sentence on him for like a month. Or if he is not guilty let him go, the prosecutor should be able to prove his charges strongly against the

Stop the noise
If someone tells you,you are making a noise,there shouldnt be any law before you stop.Its time we change some of our habits.A lot of this churches and this bar doesnt mind a damn and will continued to make noises at about 1.0

I am so happy about this. It is a starting point for people to know that they cannot just disturb and make noise depriving others of the much needed peace and sleep. Let the laws of the land be enforced! Well done police!
