But are the female youth themselves ready for the sort of revolution you are describing?

Go around the universities and talk to the young girls there....They are all dreaming of marrying some rich man and settling into a cozy life as "Madam" somewhere....not building anything for themselves. Very few have the kind of ambitions that would move "africa beyond aid" as you put it.
