Ghanaians are ignorant - Zylofon Media boss

Nana Appiah Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zylofon Media while speaking on his stance of the criticisms he is facing on social media for comments he made about Ebony has said Ghanaians are ignorant.

Speaking on Zylofon FM, the young CEO of the radio station said “tribute are mostly based on the last encounter one has had with the deceased."

However, Ghanaians have attacked him for revealing conversations he had had confidentially with the dancehall diva prior to her sadden death on Thursday February 8 2018.

Mr Mensah had posted earlier that Ebony was in a hurry to join him at the Zylofon mdeia from the Ruff Town records where shehadbeen from 2015 before she got involved in the gory car accident that caused her death.

He stated that Ebony on a phone call with him, while he was in London, told him about her desire to join the growing Media vrand he is heading.

Upon his arrival in the country, he and the "Maame Hwe" hitmaker reached an agreement and had said he planned on signing her to the Zylofon Media this week.

Saying this, he also said he was ready to pay off Ruff Town records for the dancehall diva.

He further said that his tweet was a call for affirmative action for women in the entertainment industry.

He also indicated that, the hot comments from Ghanaian. are not a worry of him at all.

"Your derogatory messages cannot break me. These verbal assaults amount to mob injustice.” He said.

However, he stated that he is not beyond criticisms and he therefore accepts them in good faith.

“I'm not beyond criticisms, I accept all criticisms in good faith.”
