After 60 years of independent, our graduates are still asked to go to Regional Centres to register their national service posting letters. It is a big shame on the Secretariate. They intentionally delay the process creating room for extortion. Please the time has come for Ghana to move forward. All newly posted national service personnel should be directed to go and register at the District where they have been posted to. Take the pain out. Some of them travelling from afar to Sekondi/Takoradi to register and have slept there for two (2) consecutive nights. Shame! Shame!

This happens every year and it shows how incompetent the nss body is. I had a personal experience in the year 2014. So can't this institution think of any innovative ideas to prevent students for joining cues after the postin ...

what kind of stupidity is this? Is the NSS saying that they cant create a website to cater for this and moreover do they need military men to control educated people when they know the purpose of being there, all this happens ...

In Ghana everything is "fa ma Nyame". Because of this people get away with cases that needs to be prosecuted in court. It is not enough for the NSS to say they are sorry; all those officers involved in this fracas should be arrested and prosecuted. The officers ha no right to use sticks, belts and other objects on the NSS personnel; one of them seen bleeding profusely. I think the parents of those who were injured should sue the NSS and those army officers involved in this shameful act.
