  It is never true that he is in charge. In fact reliable information point to the fact that Yaw Osafo Marfo and the Finance Minister have ganged up to sideline him. Tell the truth and don't try to colour it.

  Bawumia, a complete neophyte in economics, has lied his way into superstardom. For NPP to put Bawumia as head of economic team is a complete disservice to the country.
  
  How soon we forget as a nation! It is Bawumia as deputy governor of BoG in 2007 under Kufuor who redenominated the cedi and foolishly pegged the cedi 93 pesewas to US$1 using some convoluted macroeconomics assumptions. The cedi has never been the same - the cedi is still grasping at straws.
  
  After horrendously criticizing the IMF induced NDC budget and lying about Ghana's debt stock vis-a-vis GDP, this bloke takes off to China and mortgages Ghana's bauxite in lieu of $19 billion Chinese loan which he refuses to say it's a loan. Up till now Ghana Parliament has no clue of Bawumia's MoU with the Chinese.
  
  Bawumia is a complete disaster for the country, and Akufo-Addo will do well to sideline him based on his dealings with the Chinese. Any African with leadership ambition such as Bawumia should be watched very closely, and I am glad NPP has caught on with Bawumia lies and innuendos about his knowledge in economics.
