This is the argument I've been making against reserving places on the Black Stars for local players. Richard Ofori is a local player today but tomorrow he isn't. It means that to maintain the number of local players on the team a player based outside of Ghana should be replaced with a new local player. I suggest we replace Richard Ofori with Felix Annan. How Richard Ofori dare not remain a local player? Do folks see my point? The Black Stars selection should based be solely on merit. All our best players leave Ghana so the team will be automatically made up of our footballers playing outside. The local players have the u17, u20, u23 and Black Stars B to improve themselves. I've been frowning at Coach Appiah's useless attempt to find players in Ghana. Well, he invited many local players. How many of them played against Ethiopia? Only 1, Richard Ofori. The next match will have 0 local players because Richard Ofori is no more a local player. I wonder if Coach Appiah is serious at all and why he dances around an issue that pure common sense tells the answer, that local players aren't ready for the Black Stars.
