  Well there needs to be a towing policy but not what the DVLA and NRSA was trying to implement as it's bogus and would be a rip off.

  Policy should be vehicle owner pays for towing service only when vehicle is towed moreover the Kotoko accident did not involve a stationary vehicle.
  I expect a policy to really reflect that we have a professional state institutions.

  The Contractor should be paid upon the submission of invoice on number of vehicles towed per month but not on time elapsed.

  This is another rip-off on the innocent Ghanaians as Zoom lion was paid a portion of DACF for time spent not for a level of cleanliness at the Assemblies.

  The subject of road safety is something I am passionate about, and would like to share a few points with discerning readers. Yes, accidents on are roads are caused by soo many factors, which time and space will not allow me to discuss on this forum. But to touch on a few; the first that comes to mind is the road worthiness of the vehicles that ply our roads. How many vehicles on our roads are actually subjected to the road worthy test before they are issued with certificates? Road worthy certificates are mostly bought, not issued after the vehicles have passed the test. This plus the incompetence and lack of technical know-how of mechanics are major contributory factors to the common sight of broken down vehicles, which are one of the main causes of accidents.
  The police, who are the custodians of the law are also a major contributory factor! Why? They see default vehicles, sometimes vehicles with not even a single tail light, yet they take monies and allow them to drive on! Most of the causes of accidents and the chaos on our roads do not require a rocket scientist to solve them! It is as a result of a total breakdown of law and order and wanton indiscipline by stakeholders in our transportation system. Lets go back to basics and do what is right to save our lives. Stop selling road worthy certificates without rigorously testing vehicles, stop selling drivers' licence, the police must stop taking bribes to allow those death traps on our roads and educate our mechanics to update their basic skills. Lest I forget, drink drive! God save us!

  My sympathy for tje lost on the part if Kotoko ;However according to the police this accident was due to the recklessness on the part of the kotoko driver.He rammed into the vehicle that was in motion and not packed

  these are the parasitic animals who are looking for any political chance to justify their thievery mentality , if you want to make national towing policies , - it is simply you tow and i pay, it is not going to work as i pay for it either i need the service or dont that is rip off
