  don't be so emotionally hurt by Mahamas loss. He has lost only once. Akuffo ADDO and Atta Mills lost 2x each. Kuffuor lost once. Edward Mahama lost 6x, Papa Kwasi Ndoum lost 3x. Don't Forget Mahama is still being paid over 20 ...

  With all due respect: it's counter-intuitive to be petitioning Parliament to intervene on your behalf for a pending fee hike, --because you're 'informa pauperis'-- and then, turn around to state in your petition that, the school is a "prestigious" one.
  
  These are the implications for using that word:
  If it is "prestigious", then it's
  worth the outrageous fee hike.
  
  If you want to attend a
  "prestigious" university you
  must be prepared to pay for
  it.
  
  If you cannot afford a
  "prestigious" university,
  you don't have to attend
  one.
  
  I hope nobody gets me wrong: I'm not shooting down the petition. Far from it: with all due respect, I'm just playing the devil's advocate. I'm just reminding the drafter/s of the petition that, the use of the English language has its own consequences.
  
  My advice: Instead of using the word "prestigious" to dignify the university; use a word like "honourable".

  We plead with the government to intervene. It's too expensive some of us are not capable of paying. It's not about who is president and who is not or who lost and who won it's about the future of the country. After all the University consists of both NDCs and NPPs. Let's be realistic here
