Ghana police stop talking and subject the driver and our drivers to independent eye test. We know they pay to receive false eye test results from the dvla officials.

I just don't seems to understand why DVLA don't assign eye testing,alcohol content and health physical check on drivers lincensing renewal and approval for new drivers

Odikro, the answer to all this NONSENSE is for the police to implement the laws and arrest and fine or jail culprits, instead of taking bribes!!!

Are you telling me the police never saw the truck driving around with no tail-lights?? Possibly drove past police check-points.....money given them and the driver allowed to go.

That is what is causing several accidents on our roads!!!! Police taking bribes....if the law worked and the drivers know the law works and the police will not take bribes for driving offences......the drivers will not dare move their vehicles on our roads, till they are in good order. PERIOD! THIS BASIC COMMON SENSE!!! DON'T BLAME THE DRIVERS, BLAME THE LAW ENFORCERS!!!!

Stupidity on all fronts in our nation is beyond belief.....overloaded trucks and cars, over speeding, scrap-yard cars, okada riding on pavements, people crossing highways, children selling on highways, driving with faulty lights in the night etc., etc. on our roads!!!!!! DO WE LIVE IN THE JUNGLE???? GHANAIANS?????

The police must stop taking bribes and arrest and jail all culprits, instead of turning a blind eye.
Police drive past broken down cars every time, what do they do about them? IF AND WHEN THE LAW IS STRICTLY IMPLEMENTED AND DRIVERS PROPERLY FINED, NOBODY WILL BREAK THE LAW!!!!!!!

WHO IS SUPPOSED TO IMPLEMENT THE LAWS TO STOP THIS MADNESS!!!! ENOUGH OF THE JUNGLE LIVING OF LAWLESSNESS AND DISORDER??????

The Police Officer is involved in peddling lies. The impact on the bus alone suggests the other vehicle was stationery . If it was in motion, the tail lights woulf indicate its presence on the road. Unless he wants to tell us ...

Unless he wants to tell us the Kotoko driver was hitting every other vehicle on the road. Or they gave the other vehicle permission to move without lights. He is bribed to save the other vehicle.

No eye test in Ashanti region. When my Ashanti friends see me wearing my glasses, what they do is to laugh at me. Those guys don't understand that one can go to ophthalmologist just to have glasses to protect their eyes from car lights and the sun. Radio stations who make a lot of noise on air could use the opportunity to educate their country men. RIP to the two who lost their life and quick recovery to the entire team. Very sad.

Why is this officer talking like we don't know what is happening on our roads, I once rammed into a tipper truck in the night cos it had no tail light or any reflector at the back and was moving too with a lot of smoke too compounding the situation. The sad aspects of it was that it happened immediately after a police barrier. I have been seeing a lot of such trucks in the night and the police allow them to go. I report some of them to the police but they end up allowing them to go. So come again Mr officer, what are you talking about.

Majority of the accidents on our roads can be avoided if the law works!!! Drivers drive anyhow with no care in the world. They weave in and out of traffic at very close range without even indicating, constantly tailgating and parking anywhere and anyhow. How are licences issued, how thourough and genuine is the driving test, is road awareness and safety part of the test? The attitude of majority of our drivers raises a lot of questions and as the laws does not work, they get away with "everything". As for the state of the cars and our roads, I don't even know where to begin. We need to be serious as a nation in a whole. It's pathetic!!!!
