I commend the Deputy Minister of Health and the committee's work. However, there is a very serious problem facing General Nurses who are currently doing their national service in various government hospitals. The Accountant General's Department is sitting on their salaries. These poor nurses doing their national service are asked to pay a bribe ranging from one hundred Ghana cedis to two hundred Ghana cedis before their salaries are released to them. Some have paid these amounts and have gotten their salaries. The poor ones who don't have the money have not received their salaries. God help Ghana.
The same thing happened to their allowances whiles they were in school last year. Some had to pay bribes to the same Accountant General's Department staff before their allowances were paid to them. It's a big shame to the Department. The Security agencies must go into this.

please do not take the rapportage of some rented press serious? which year did those vouchers relate to? no serious audit lasts for three days. did the fm station find out the filling system of the accounts unit? the fact that vouchers could not be found does not suggest wrong doing. in the public service almost all our records are manually kept and retrieving them especially after a over a year can be cumbersome. to suggest fraud because some vouchers couldn't be found immediately is sickening. in Ghana the media will pronounce you guilty and you have to prove yourself innocent.

If their report is different from what you have fed us on your website then it means you are jus throwing dust into our eyes.

Talking of corruption, I think those accusing the Principal should also check themselves very well . Like the law of karma the stone you throw at others will definitely come back to you.

Let's wait for the report and see the outcomes of these corruption allegations.
