This absolutely deliberate to earn interest from the said amount,if eoco investigate deeper they ll realize that people who collect and manage cash on behave of government usually ll invest the money in private banks and delay payment in other to make some profit before paying,Even the police do this,I remember one time a friend had a land case,the land ownner agreed to refund the money to the police,he paid half and promised to pay the rest on instalment,the police officer who was keeping the money decided to buy treasury bills with the money after he received full payment from the land owner and kept lying to us until the truth finally came out.So you see,people ve leant to use the loopholes in the system to make money,this days civil servants only think of how to subvert the system and not to protect and block the crimes for which they re paid.EC can not operate in isolation even if they re independent,the EC boss herself was left of the hook for engaging in stupid legal battles they knew they can't win,all warnings to her were ignored.A typical case example is the district level elections a fisherman won against them forcing the EC to postpone the date.So if the head of the EC can do this why not any other person?I believe EC boss made some profit from the legal battles and must be investigated,the lawyers who represented the EC must be investigated too,Mr Tadious Sori hope I got his name right,Ghana must show that we can read in between the lines otherwise people ll be making money for no swet...
