good intentions must be designed on paper and everyone works to achieve it. which aspects of the railway network can we do ourselves and which aspects do we need foreign help ? can the Ghanaian railway engineers design and use local labor to do the blocks and motar , laying and tightening aspects of it while we import the metalic tracts and locomotors ? I think if we are to actively take ownership of doing it even 5 billion dollars is enough to get us the needed rail network but if we want foreigners do everything for us they will certainly design anything and tell us it worths 21 billion dollars. may God help our efforts !

WHAT IS PATHETIC IS,THEY HELPED IT TO COLLAPSE ND FOR THEM TO SHARE ITS PROPERTIES, BUMGALOWS,ESTATES AND LANDS AMONGST THEMSELVES.

SURELY,GHARTEY AND OWUSU ANKOMAH SHOULD BE NOW THE OWNERS OF SOME OF THE PROPERTIES OF GHANA RAILWAYS.

WHERE IN OUR WORLD DO WE HAVE A RAILWAY MINISTRY.RAILWAYS FALLS WITHIN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE MINISTRY OF
TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION.

ANOTHER WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY.

DOSEN'T IT SOUND VERY STRANGE FOR GHARTEY AND THE SO CALLED NPP(THE PATRIOTS) TO SEE TO THE DESTRUCTION OF GHANA RAIlWAYS AND THE LOCATION WORKS AT KETAN, AND FOR them TO SEEK SUCH A HEAVY SUM,US21bn FROM FOREIGN INVESTORS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE BROKEN RAILWAYS IN GHANA.

SAD FOR A NATION TO BE RULED BY FOLKS WHO ARE INDEED MO KNOWLEDGEABLE IN RULING A NATION.

UNLESS NDC AND NPP WHO HAVE NO POLITICAL HISTORY IN GHANA ARE BOOTED OUT FROM THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE OF GHANA,THE NATION GHANA WILL CONTINUE TO BE ECONOMIC BACKWARD, UNDERDEVELOPED AND HEAVILY INDEPTED POOR COUNTRY(HIPC)IN THE WORLD.

ARE THEY NOT ASHAMED TO BE CALLED STATE MINISTERS IN A BROKEN INFRASTRUCTURE STILL IN SHAMBELES AND WITHOUT BASIC AMENITIES, WATER, ENERHY AND MOST EYPECIALLY FIR THE SEVENTY ERCENT OF GHANAIANS IN THE RURAL AREAS WHO CONTINUE TO LIVE IN MUD AND HUT STRUCTURES IN THE 21ST CENTURY.

INCHABAN, KOJOKROM AND ESSIKADU ARE EXAMPLES OF A CONTINUED UNDERDEVELOPMENT.

very good project but needs to be start soon by this year ,the workshop in essikado needs rehabilitation ,old plans for the railway line should be maintained and encroaches should be sacked especially sekondi station

very good and durable rail projects have been done in Ethiopia and Kenya for less than a quarter of the quoted amount. They must therefore give a breakdown of exactly how the projects mentioned merit such a huge sum of money. ...

Minister must travel with his team to Ethiopia and Kenya and learn from their success stories and good example. 21 billion dollars is a bit crazy for our economy

This project will pay for itself so the $21 billion dollars is nothing compered with the benefits that the country will get from it. It will change not only the twin city but THE whole face of the country !! Investors will put in the money and don't forget to call on Ghanaians in the diaspora to buy some of the Bonds for the project.

GO AHEAD AKUFFO ADDO AND THE GOVT. GO AHEAD. Kenya did a similar project and they love it !!!

Presidents Kufuor and Mills rehabilitated the Accra-Tema line. President mahama rehabilitated Sekondi-Takoradi line.
